Hanging My Guitar on the Wall?

I bought a Hercules GSP38WB (the one thats wooden) guitar hanger, but it came with no instructions. they just gave me 2 screws and 2 plastic white things. i know it may be pretty self explanatory, but do i need to find the support of the wall? or can i put this anywhere. and tell me if this is right, so i drill the hole on the wall, and put the plastic white things in there. then put the hanger and drill the screw through the hanger and into the plastic thing. is that right? and do i hammer the plastic things in? help please.

It sounds like you have the right idea. The plastic white things are called wall anchors. Here are some directions. These anchors can be use without finding the studs(wood supports in the wall).

Plastic wall anchors can be used to hang light loads in drywall, such as light pictures and decorations. Plastic wall anchors look similar to plastic screws with a hole in them, which holds the screw. These anchors are easily installed with a hammer and screwdriver.

To install plastic wall anchors, drill a hole slightly smaller than the anchor itself (plastic piece). Gently tap the wall anchor into the wall with a hammer. Use a screwdriver to screw a sheet-metal screw into the plastic anchor (appropriate screws are usually included with wall anchors when purchased).
